Mother’s Day Gifts Remembered – Part 2

I remember going to buy Mother’s Day gifts for my mom as a child. If there was an unusual item or trinket in my price range, I could find it at Woolworth or Lay’s Department Store.
    Through the years my Mother’s Day gifts from my children were interesting, sweet and sometimes unusual, as well. Fast forward five years, and my children are grown! The gifts have changed, but the sentiments from them and how I feel about them have not.
If your child is going the homemade route this Mother’s Day, we’ve got a cute idea on our Teacher’s Corner page that they can do with some adult assistance. It will not only be useful, but a great keepsake. And if Dad or another adult is helping them with a purchase this year, we’ve got a great list of gift suggestions, sure to fit your mom.
And whatever you do for your mom, if she is still with you, she’s going to know you love her, and that’s all that matters!
