Family Favorites Winners Revealed 

Each year, our Birmingham Parent’s Family Favorites Awards gets more and more popular with the public and businesses/advertisers alike.
This year we had a record number of votes – up about 800 from last year! And we let our readers do the nominating and the voting, so it’s truly a contest by readers, and winners are determined by the most number of votes. When voting is close, we also designate honorable mentions, and this year, we have a plentiful number of those, too.
In this issue we honor those businesses and services you nominated as your “favorites.” We’ve been doing this a long time; so long, in fact, that other organizations in the area are doing it too. But our Family Favorite Award is an original. Any time you see the Family Favorite logo on a sign, door or advertisement, you’ll know that business or services was special enough that a large majority of our readers – you – thought enough of them to both nominate and vote for them in our annual online contest.
Enjoy the summer and this issue of Birmingham Parent, which offers even more than our Family Favorites. There’s a lot more to come before the season is over!
